The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has posted new guidance for the electronic logging device mandate that exempts trucks equipped with model year 1999 engines and older from adhering to the mandate, regardless of the model year of the truck.

Because most log files are recorded in plain text, the use of any text editor will do just fine to open it. By default, windows will use notepad to open a log file when you double-click on it. Certainly have an app already built-in or installed on system for opening log files.
